A patient lookup feature allows for the auto population of patient demographic and medical history fields using the patient’s social security number, full name, or driver license number. This feature pulls information from previous run records and makes the completion of ePCRs significantly quicker, more efficient, and highly accurate.
In addition to entering data using a keyboard, R1’s ePCR gives users the option of using a stylus for simplified data entry. The easy-to-use stylus functions as a pen that can be used directly on the device screen to enter text in applicable fields, including those requiring the selection of entries. R1’s ePCR recognizes both print and cursive handwriting, quickly converting stylus entries into text.
Recording protocol requirements take a considerable amount of time and effort. To accelerate the documentation process, the protocol-based charting feature provides a pre-populated checklist of orders that need to be performed when an incident is started. Users can work through each protocol action item, and easily note whether or not the action was completed and modify protocol defaults if a unique situation arises.
R1’s ePCR solution fully integrates with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and several monitoring devices, including Physio LIFEPAK®, Zoll® and Philips® MRx heart monitors. This integration enables the import of pivotal patient information, such as heart rhythms or vital signs, and retrieval of detailed incident information.
R1 offers several quality assurance and improvement tools to help agencies maintain complete and compliant records. For example, the Supervisor Review process enforces proper charting for medical and billing purposes. The Peer Review process emphasizes constructive comments and professional growth among responders, and the QA Review process allows for a third tier of review with the option of escalation to the Medical Director.
Provides the communications center with deployment recommendations for the best coverage.
Allows you to minimize unnecessary moves that are taxing on crews and waste fuel.
Monitors the status of resources and continually enhances it to find the best outcomes.
Road networks are the core upon which vehicle, call and location data is displayed and updated in real-time. This information provides dispatchers with a clear view of vehicle and resource availability during the decision-making process. Then, system administrators can replay past segments to analyze the situation and incorporate lessons into the management plans.
Administrators can configure the optimal deployment pattern to maximize coverage area and improve incident response for a given day and time. color-coded compliance standards are generated and dynamically updated to help dispatchers adhere to the plan and redirect vehicles when necessary.
Look Ahead offers a side-by-side comparison of current resource locations and their anticipated location in the near future. Vehicle statuses are presented for a configured time frame in a best case scenario that accounts for call completion, transport times, as well as refueling, restocking and shift changes. This information provides valuable insight for dispatchers when redirecting vehicles.
Emergency resources are assigned based on an accurate assessment of the incident and a quick review of vehicle statuses. Business rules can be applied to automatically identify the most appropriate resources, allowing dispatch to make knowledgeable decisions for substantial improvements in both accuracy and response times.
Enables users to build scenarios that make logistical and business sense.
Allows you to save time, effort and resources when changing agency operations.
The map-based user interface can be customized by adjusting display settings and element filters, which allows dispatchers to quickly assess the big picture. Filters can also be used to drill-down and analyze data, apply complex business rules and generate sophisticated reporting that informs planning and resource assignment.
Basic and advanced scenario management tools are available to help create an interrelated framework for modeling discrete parameters. Input elements such as personnel, vehicle shifts, calls and hotspots can be added to, duplicated or extracted from scenarios to create situational variations.
Call generation, complex dispatch rules and scene behavior logic can be simulated to enhance understanding of the various factors that affect performance. For example, a calibrated road network based on AVL, historic trip analysis and stochastic trip time multipliers produces highly accurate response time estimates for typical traffic patterns.
Historic call, vehicle location and other data are used to identify availability levels, response tiers and base locations. Plans can then be built using geographic grids or demand hotspots. Subsequently, plans can be edited, used in modeling, monitored for compliance, or used to explore variations and optimize coverage area positioning.
