R1 commissioned the international research consultancy, Censuswide, to survey 205 health system CFOs and Revenue Cycle VPs. Here's what they said:
- 44% have vacancies for half their RCM roles.
- Operational deficiencies (30%) are nearly as big a problem as clinical deficiencies (33%) due to labor shortages.
- Nearly half (46%) are behind on their 2022 revenue goals.
