Please keep the following in mind about R1’s recruitment process:
Unfortunately, recruitment scams are becoming more common and more convincing. At R1, we want to protect candidates and employees from identity theft, financial loss, and other harm. Staying alert can help you avoid becoming a victim.
Scammers often run fake interview processes that feel legitimate — sometimes going so far as to “hire” candidates, ask them to quit their jobs, and then request payment to “hold” equipment or activate accounts.
R1 will never require payment of any kind during the hiring process.
Below are some red flags to watch for:
- R1 will not ask you to download Trillian, Telegram, WhatsApp, or any other encrypted messaging app to communicate about a role.
- R1 will not ask for credit card or payment information to provide or “hold” equipment.
- R1 will not send a job offer signed by our CEO.
- R1 does not use Gmail or other personal email accounts.
- R1 does not offer bonuses for completing onboarding tasks.
- R1 will not send you a check to deposit or ask you to move money as part of any task.
- Be aware that scammers may create duplicate websites or manipulate search results to appear as legitimate R1 pages or contacts
