Eric Tagliere serves as Chief Information Officer at R1, where he leads the company’s global technology organization and is responsible for advancing R1’s technology strategy, innovation agenda, and enterprise transformation to support long-term growth.
Eric brings more than 30 years of experience leading large-scale technology organizations and delivering complex digital and cloud transformations across healthcare, hospitality, financial services, and data analytics industries. Most recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Humana, where he led a global organization of approximately 6,000 team members and played a pivotal role in modernizing the company’s technology platform, accelerating its cloud strategy, and advancing enterprise-wide digital capabilities.
Prior to Humana, Eric was Chief Technology Officer at Marriott International, where he oversaw digital engineering, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture for one of the world’s largest hospitality companies. He also held senior leadership roles at Ameriprise Financial, Experian, and Nielsen, where he advanced infrastructure modernization, and technology-enabled business transformation initiatives.
Eric began his career at CNA Insurance and has built a track record of leading high-performing teams, scaling technology platforms, and delivering measurable business outcomes through innovation and operational excellence.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Statistics and Economics from Northern Illinois University.
