Jon joined Triage Consulting Group, now part of R1, in 2005. His first foray into revenue cycle was spent calling payers, modeling contracts, researching accounts and identifying revenue leakage. Jon managed consulting engagements for hospitals and health systems across the United States.
Jon founded new business units dedicated to identifying missed revenue due to coding and revenue integrity issues. He also developed systems to scale intelligence using clinical and financial patterns in health system data. Jon extended R1’s systems across the middle and back of the revenue cycle – coding, charging, billing, denials and underpayments.
Jon leads the Intelligence Organization at R1 for our Revenue Performance Solutions: DRG-V, Charge Capture, Denials and Underpayments. His team of subject matter experts programs our systems and identifies missed revenue for our customers.
Jon’s competitive spirit is shaped by years of playing rugby and geeking out over great coffee. He’s a proud girl dad and compulsive hobbyist in his spare time.
