Melissa Hannan is Vice President of Product at R1, where she leads product strategy, innovation, and commercialization across revenue cycle solutions and emerging AI-enabled offerings. She is responsible for defining product vision, driving growth, and delivering technology solutions that improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and the patient experience.
Since joining R1 in 2016, Melissa has held leadership roles spanning product management, revenue integrity, and business strategy. Prior to R1, Melissa held analytics and business intelligence leadership roles at Ascension and Expeditors International, where she focused on performance improvement, strategic insights, and operational excellence.
She holds a Master of Science in Health Systems Management from Rush University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Melissa is based in the Chicago area.
