Ron Kwak is a healthcare operations and growth leader with extensive experience in patient experience, business operations, and strategic transformation. He currently serves as General Manager of the Patient Experience business at R1 RCM, where he leads initiatives focused on improving patient engagement, operational performance, and financial outcomes for healthcare providers.  

Ron brings a strong track record of scaling operations and driving innovation across the healthcare ecosystem. Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President of Operations at R1, where he led client servicing and implementation efforts. He also held a leadership role at VisitPay, helping drive significant growth and contributing to the company’s successful acquisition by R1. 

Earlier in his career, Ron held roles spanning strategy, marketing, and operations at organizations including ADP, Jitasa, and McKinsey & Company, where he developed deep expertise in business transformation and go-to-market strategy. 

Ron is known for his ability to connect strategy with execution—leveraging data, technology, and global operating models to enhance the patient financial experience. His leadership emphasizes a patient-first approach, helping healthcare organizations deliver more seamless, compassionate, and efficient interactions across the revenue cycle. 

He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University.
