Tymor Hamamsy joined R1 in October, 2025 during the Phare Health acquisition.
Tymor has spent his career at the intersection of AI and biomedicine. He is a Large Language Model expert with a Ph.D. in AI from New York University and a Master of Science in biomedical informatics from Stanford. Tymor is a native New Yorker who geeks out on tennis statistics.
