R1 has been recognized by KLAS yet again, earning the top distinction in the Ambulatory RCM Services (EHR-Agnostic) category for an unprecedented fifth year in a row. KLAS also recognized our outstanding work in the categories of Government Reimbursement Services for the second year in a row and Extended Business Office: Small (<200 beds) for the first time.

Ambulatory RCM Services (EHR-Agnostic) – Ambulatory RCM optimizes financial operations for outpatient care facilities. They streamline patient registration, insurance verification, coding, billing, payment collection, and denial management. They have reduced our timely filing write-offs, and that is a huge deal… We are seeing increased reimbursement, better communication, and better joint teamwork efforts. We have a team here on our side and a team outsourced, but there is really one team, and it does feel like that.” 

 A director told KLAS, also in December 2024, that “R1 RCM has been very engaged with us on this new path of representing that we are one team. That is one of our big initiatives at this organization. We engage our people with R1 RCM and demonstrate that we are doing a project together as one team, and R1 RCM is very open and engaged with our leaders. R1 RCM also wants to be a resource to our people if they have any questions. We are really working to establish what that looks like. R1 RCM has done a very good job of showing that they take things very seriously.” 

Finally, a CFO said, in December 2024, “With R1 RCM, our cash collection is going extremely well, and that is what we hired them to do. That is probably the biggest growth that we have seen. They are collecting the money and meeting their cash goals, and that is always a good thing.”
