Scott Lynch
VP, Product - Data Science
Scott is the VP of Product for Data Science at R1 RCM with 14 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management. Scott spent the first 10 years of his career as a revenue cycle consultant at Triage Consulting Group (now part of R1), where he worked within underpayments, oversaw the company’s ICD-10 transition, and later started the company’s services optimizing auditing within hospital coding, charging and pharmaceuticals. In 2018, Scott pioneered Triage’s efforts in machine learning, and after Triage was acquired by Cloudmed, he pivoted to focus on data science full time, building out a team for Cloudmed and later R1. Scott focuses on architecting R1’s data science efforts by collaborating directly with R1’s slate of healthcare experts to drive innovation across the revenue cycle. From scheduling to denial management, he and the R1 team are focused on driving towards a faster, simpler and more seamless revenue cycle.
